January TBR – Novels and Comics

So I started off 2016 doing something I’d never done before: Creating a TBR for the month. Then something very surprising happened. I finished it.

Now my January TBR mostly consisted of finishing the two books that I had been reading — The Ocean At The End of the Lane by Neil Gaiman and the Welcome To Nightvale novel by Jeffrey Cranor and Joseph Fink — with the intention of reading at least one other if I managed to finish those two. I tend to be very slow at reading so I didn’t want to push myself too much. Well, I got back in to work and I had some breaks and those two books just flew by, so here is my new and updated TBR.

Ocean At The End of the Lane by Neil Gaiman

Welcome to Nightvale by Jeffrey Carnor and Joseph Fink

Fangirl by Rainbow Rowell

Blood Rites by Jim Butcher

Now of course it couldn’t be that simple. I am a huge lover of comics and so I also have a comics TBR for January which is:

Saga – Volume 3 by Brian K Vaughn

Harley Quinn – New 52 Vol 1 by Jimmi Palmiotti

Batman – New 52 Vol 2 by Scott Snyder

I may not be able to finish both novels, but I think I should be able to read the comics.
